Glowing at the heart of the Catherine Palace near St Petersburg, the original Amber room was lined entirely with amber panels and backed with gold leaf and mirrors. When lit with more than five hundred candles it was reputed to glow like trapped sunshine. Famed as the Eighth Wonder of the World, this glowing room filled with amber is the inspiration behind this beautiful warm fragrance.
